new home

i stink with this whole blog thing.  i keep thinking i'll write something, but then i never do.  it's the thought that counts, i guess.

WE HAVE A NEW HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's official, as of yesterday, tuesday, august 28th, we now live in phoenixville, pennsylvania....home to 'the blob' (they actually have a yearly festival in town called 'blobfest' honoring the movie-which was filmed in phoenixville). i'm constantly pinching myself because i can't believe that we live in this gorgeous home. God has been good to us.  it's been a ride i would not like to repeat, but His mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness.

this home is bigger than i imagined when we started our search for a house, but with 4 children and a big extended family, it is honestly perfect.  please come and stay any time you are in the philadelphia area, visiting valley forge national park (right down the road), taking in the blobfest in downtown phoenixville or decide to go shopping at the king of prussia mall (only 10 minutes away)....our home is your home.

the kids are excited, not just because their rooms are bigger and the boys don't have to share a room but because the rule of thumb was when we moved, we would get a dog.  well, once they found out we settled on the house, they were picking out dogs and agreeing on what breeds they like.  oh my.  i'm not quite ready for the dog situation but our future dog, already named 'CHYKHEN' pronounced like the fowl-chicken (kiersten & ella came up with the name, an acronym-ChuckHeatherYatskoKierstenHutchEllaNoah) weird, but cool. a dog named Chykhen, but Chykhen will have to wait a little bit before he/she joins our family.

have a wonderful labor day. chuck & i are headed west after the holiday for rest & relaxation which is couldn't have come at a better time.
